There are many opportunities to volunteer at Mount Shepherd Retreat Center. Volunteers help the Program Director with daily assignments, working with youth and children, and being a role model for children and youth attending camp.

Minimum Qualifications

• Enjoys working in an outdoor setting
• Enjoys working with children and youth
• Is committed to the Christian faith and is an active church member
• At least 14 years old
• Able to accept supervision and responsibility
• Active in their church
• Able and willing to attend the volunteer training event at Mount Shepherd
• Possesses human-relations shills to work with other staff
• Has attended at least one week of camp at Mount Shepherd prior to volunteering
