Middle School Creation Keepers Program
Our Middle School "Creation Keepers" program empowers campers to discover how they can care for God's creation in practical, meaningful ways. Through hands-on projects, fun challenges, and faith-centered conversations, campers learn what it means to be good stewards of the world God has entrusted to us. They'll explore how everyday choices—at home, at school, and in their neighborhoods—can reflect their faith and make a positive impact on the environment. Along with traditional camp activities, these campers will enjoy nature hikes, creative up-cycling projects, team clean-up activities, and simple "green living" skills they can take home. They'll explore Scripture that connects to creation care, discuss how their faith guides their responsibility to the Earth, and work together to imagine ways they can bless their communities by living more sustainably. Campers head home inspired, knowledgeable, and ready to shine God's light by taking care of our world.

Check-In Time
All check-in times are between 3 and 5 pm on Sunday.
Check-Out Time
Friday from 1 PM to 2:15 pm. If you need to pick up or drop off campers at another time, please call the camp office at 336-629-4085 to discuss your options.
Financial Assistance
Mount Shepherd is committed to making camp possible for ALL children, regardless of financial resources. We encourage camp families to reach out to their local church to request financial support. The application for scholarships must be completed while registering your camper. Once your camper is successfully registered your scholarship application will be processed. Please allow 7 business days. Scholarship applications will not begin being processed until February 15, 2023.
